PrezCon: The Winter Nationals

PrezCon, Inc. is proud to host its 17th annual event that has become the premier Winter Board Gaming Convention. Over the years, PrezCon has grown from a small, regional convention to the big event it now is, drawing attendees from all over the USA, Canada, Asia and Europe. We will be running 85+ Tournaments with many Demos to boot! The events will include some of your old favorites, Euro Games, as well as some of the Classic War Games. We will continue this year our Classic War Game games. The Newest Track (Block Games) will offer some of your favorite wooden block games from several publishers.

We continue to offer our very popular track scheduling this year. What does that mean? It means that if play Euro Games, you will be able to play every heat of every Euro Game we host. If you play War Games, it will be the same and so on. This will make your convention gaming schedule easy to follow, and it will allow you to play in all your favorite games with a minimum of overlap! We will host the new Iron Man Championship! This means we are combining all tracks into 1 Iron man Championship! This will add value to the winner. We will also be paying the winners admission into the next years Winter Nationals!

Sportsmanship Award! This will be the first year our con will present the New Sportsmanship Award! As the con has grown we from time to time will need to introduce awards that add meaning to The Winter Nationals. PrezCon has seen unprecedented growth the past 3 years and has now gotten to the point that we feel introducing a Sportsmanship Award is Necessary. The meaning of sportsmanship needs to shine thru at PrezCon! The winner of this award will receive free Admission into the next con and be awarded a special plaque. Their name will be added to a larger plaque that will be on display at the con year in and year out! The GM's will be asked to put forward a choice from there event. A Drawing will then be done after the con is over and the winners name will be listed with all the other winners. We ask all of you who attend to show great Sportsmanship to your fellow gamer!

RevCon at PrezCon

We are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement to hold 3rd Annual RevCon inside PrezCon. You will register for PrezCon and then can enter the RevCon events to participate. They will have there our own space to create the right atmosphere. The following events will make up RevCon:

American Rev War Series (Saratoga, et. al.)
Liberty
Clash for a Continent
We the People

We will have more details as they become available. You can pre-register for PrezCon at http://www.prezcon.com. Remember nothing is better then gaming when you are stuck in Winder Quarters...helps pass the time. Settlers of Catan Mid-Atlantic World Championship Qualifier Tournament!

Charles Minter will be the Game Master for this great event. Charles has attended all of the past PrezCons and is an expert in the Game Settlers of Catan! He promises to run a fun competitive event that runs smooth with as little distractions as possible.

The Winner of this Grand Event will receive round-trip Airfare, Hotel Accommodations and Admission to Origins in July! The National Settlers of Catan Championship will take place there. The winner of that event gets an all expense paid trip to GenCon in August to play in the World Settlers of Catan Championship!
